Katie began her journey with WCP in the summer of 2018 as the Director of Residential Services.  She was instrumental in developing and offering 2 new services for WCP to include in-home PA and Host Home services.  Katie has over 25 years of experience in supporting individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. She began her career supporting individuals in their home for many years, acquired over 2 years of experience working in a day habilitation capacity and over 10 years as a Case Manager and she spent 4 years as the Director of Residential Services with WCP. In September of 2022 Katie began a new journey as the Assistant Chief Executive Officer with WCP.  She has a strong role in our policy making, strategic planning, and working as a team to continuously evolve and grow the programs and services WCP offers. Katie has a drive for our mission, vision, and core values.

Katie is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, located in Cape Girardeau.

Katie is often found participating and enjoying in various recreation and social events hosted by WCP. Her love for sports, especially basketball has encouraged her to coach basketball for Special Olympics. She has coached the 5v5 regulation team along with 5v5 unified teams and our girls 3v3 teams to include the USA team whom won gold in 2021 USA games in Orlando, Florida.  Katie also enjoys community roles such as officer for Holy Rosary PTO, and member of the Holy Rosary Athletic Association.

In the Summer of 2022, Katie worked to offer Warren County’s People First Chapter. People First is a worldwide self-advocacy group which was created and is ran by individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Katie currently serves as a co-advisor and assists with the mission of the chapter, attending state meetings, and sitting on a few committees within People First State Chapter.

Katie is married with 3 children and a resident of Warren County.  She is an avid and loyal Kansas Jayhawk fan. When Katie is not actively working, she can be found with her kids being their biggest cheerleader.
