URGENT: 33.3% Funding Cut Proposed for Day Habilitation
What is at Stake?
- 20 Neighbors at Risk: We will be forced to immediately reduce our capacity by 20 individuals, leaving our most vulnerable citizens without a safe place to go during the day.
- A “Closed Door” for Graduates: Students graduating this year and next will have no available services to transition into, halting their progress and independence.
- Working Families in Crisis: When Day Habilitation disappears, 2nd incomes do too. Parents and caregivers will be forced to leave the workforce to provide care at home
- Stagnant Growth: These cuts effectively “freeze” our mission, making it impossible to grow or adapt to the increasing needs of our community.
