Amy Proffer

Residential Coordinator

Amy began employment with WCP in 2020 as a Direct Support Professional in our Residential Program. After a year of being employed, she was promoted to Home Supervisor and then in 2022 was promoted to Residential Manager. Along with ISL, she supervises our in-home PA and Host Home programs.

Amy’s ability to engage and motivate individuals with different needs has been instrumental in helping individuals reach their goals and live a meaningful life. Amy ensures our supports is extended to include an individual’s family, guardian and/or support system.

Amy has brought fresh ideas to the Residential Department such as heading up the Residential Community Committee that is dedicated to exploring opportunities within the Warren County and surrounding areas for not only the residents within Residential, but to all programs through WCP.

Amy Co-Advises People’s First, Warren County Chapter and assists the President and Vice President with orchestrating events in the community.

Amy is an avid animal lover and prior to becoming a DSP with WCP, had spent close to 30 years working in the veterinary world. If Amy is not at work, she can be found working on her farm or spending quality time with her friends and family.
