Level 1 Medication Aide (L1MA)

This class covers, client rights, body systems, and how to pass medications.
For first timers or expired license this is a Mandatory 16hr (two day) course. (There is one hour allotted for lunch) On day two you will need your Relias login to do an on-line exam. You get two chances to score 80% or higher once you pass this you will do a hands-on test with your instructor. If you do not pass the on-line course after two tries it will be up to your employer if they would like to re-schedule you for classes. Your license/certification will be good for 2 years.

L1MA Re-Certification

This class is a review of body systems and how to pass medications.
This is to re-new an existing and current certification (not expired or suspended). This is a mandatory 4hour (5hr with one hour lunch break) course. Your license/certification will be good for 2 years.

Heartsaver Total CPR/AED/First AID

This class can be ALL (adult, child, infant) or if you have need of only certain aspects you can email kelly@wchsmo.org and we can build a class for your group with only what you need. Class length for first timers with ALL is 6hours (7hrs with lunch). For re-newal it is 4hours (5hrs with lunch) Your license/certification will be good for 2 years.

BLS

This class is for healthcare workers (Dr’s and nurses). First time class is 4hrs. Your license/certification will be good for 2 years.

BLS Re-Newal

For re-newing a current BLS (2yr) license for healthcare workers. This is a 3hr course. Your license/certification will be good for 2 years.

CPI/ Non-Violent Crisis Intervention with disengagement skills

This class teaches verbal intervention for individuals in crisis as well as disengagement skills. This class is for DMH facilities ONLY and is a mandatory 5 ½ hours (including lunch).
