Kelsey Schomberg
Kelsey began working with WCP in June of 2017, as a Direct Support Professional in our Day Program. In 2018 Kelsey was promoted to Lead Staff and in 2019 she was promoted to Day Habilitation Program Manager. Kelsey has been an intricate piece to the growth of our day program. She assists the Day Program Director in all the daily functions to operate the program at it’s highest potential. Kelsey works together with Board Certified Behavior Analysis to assure those with intense supports are receiving the highest quality of care and are successful in their personal goals and development. Kelsey has been successful with community networking which has increased the number of volunteer sites for those attending our Day Program. Kelsey is instrumental in the social and daily activities offered at our day program.
In her free time, Kelsey can be found on the family farm with her husband caring for 30 cattle, 3 horses, and many chickens. When Kelsey is not on the farm, she enjoys going out with her friends and family. In addition, Kelsey also enjoys volunteering for Special Olympics specifically bowling. Kelsey is currently working on furthering her education to ensure her growth with WCP. Kelsey is newly married, she and her husband will welcome their first baby, July 2023. Kelsey also has a dog named Stella whom is always with her when she is not at work.
